MIHL PR RE: Accountant RODGERS INACCURATE and MISLEADING
While the topic of misleading PR's is foremost and fresh in our minds perhaps a re-visit would be appropriate....maybe this time around it might elicit a plausible response and maybe even a retraction.
"Please provide a link to any negative information that you have found. If fact, in the PR, MIHL specifically referred to Patrick's membership with this oversight board."- MIHL Board
IMO the 'press release' claiming Patrick RODGERS is a member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) is an outright fabrication meant to unduly impress and deceive and should be RETRACTED!
The first clue is embedded in the name itself as an 'OVERSIGHT' Board. An excerpt from their web site describes their origin and mission:
'The PCAOB is a nonprofit corporation established by Congress to oversee the audits of public companies in order to protect investors and the public interest by promoting informative, accurate, and independent audit reports. The PCAOB also oversees the audits of broker-dealers, including compliance reports filed pursuant to federal securities laws, to promote investor protection.'
Nobody is a 'member' per se, and the only membership involved is the 'Standing Advisory Group' consisting of 42 members.
Patrick RODGERS IS NOT on the list, past, present or renewed.
