A Facebook phone would drive sales up immensely? But why would anyone buy a Facebook phone when they can do all they need and want from any existing device? FB is a service that people use - one of many. While people certainly use FB a lot, that doesn't translate into people wanting to have a FB branded phone. If you think this through honestly, what could a FB phone offer that other, established handset makers can't or don't? A FB phone would be a terrible business move.

That's cool I appreciate your view. I don't disagree about facebook's pervasiveness. they did their job though -- i'm going to be waiting to see what the surprise is.
