With respect that article is complete crap.

Whatever the future holds for Tranzyme, you can be sure TZP-102 won't be part of it. Two separate studies have shown that the compound is indistinguishable from placebo.

Excellent post.

TZP-102 can and will be developed further for other GI disorders.. Hopefully, for the indication of treatment of Paralytic Ileus. Where there is currently no indicated treatment, which would make it a billion dollar drug.
