At one point, we were all convinced that Walgreens was an in. I even talked to Joel about it.. not by name.. but he assured me that the big drugstore was in addition to Duane Reade agreement Everyone was very excited... months ago.
Then in Late November I started sending Facebook messages to some of the possible stores in anticipation of Nutrabars. Walgreens was the first to get back with me to say they had no plans to sell that product. I was disappointed, and posted it here.. but still thought Walmart would come through.
This is a chicken egg thing maybe.
They don't have purchase orders because they didn't the bave enough bars, and they don't have enough bars because they don't have purchase orders, and they don't have ads and exposure, since they don't have money to pay for the ads, and they don't have money since they don't have purchase order or they don't have order since they don't have ads.. who knows? But we do know who got paid and we can guess who didn't.
