A couple of years ago they were starting to find little veins around 150-200 meters deep,Maybe that was a start and they have discovered a door down to 600-2000 meters.Just speculation on my part but it would make a lot more sense. My impression is as we go towards LSG we would get better results.Should be getting colder by Sunday again.
CD is going shallow because that is the smart thing to do now that a rich shallow zone has been discovered. Since the last PDAC I have posted a number of messages on this board stating that not only do we now know where the beast lives but we now know in which room he resides. The room happens to be in the upper floors (i.e. more shallow depths).
Continuing exploration of the high grade shallow gold (now that it has been repeatedly confirmed) makes total exploration and economic sense to bring up the resource count. It is NOT a decission based on rocket science though the initial plan to drill thas spot was sheer genius. Many more shallow results have been reported since the PDAC and I expect more should be found with phase 6.
The decission to continue drilling the shallow zone is simply the product of the methodical and patient and highly economical drilling programs that Chris Dupont continously demonstrates to his shareholders. I see no other motive to focus on the shallow drilling other than competent exploration strategy and the best interest of all shareholders - including those that continue to look for new and creative reasons to bash this company.
