Labs will start testing the H5N1 mutations again, as moratorium was just lifted to go ahead and start testing for these mutants. I say NNVC should contact the funders, really us the tax payers thru our Gov't., and save them a lot of time and money by asking them to "IMMEDIATELY" give the okay for the flucide to be given human trial approval for our cides.

Same report as the one Nanotoday posted but his didn't have the editorializing of the Washington Post. The report was much more balanced than what the Post focused on, though the report did emphasize violence in addition to health and access to care issues.

Yes, the article I posted contained these lines:

The shorter life expectancy for Americans largely was attributed to high mortality for men under age 50, from car crashes, accidents and violence.

The report's authors were particularly critical of the availability of guns, writing: "One behavior that probably explains the excess lethality of violence and unintentional injuries in the United States is the widespread possession of firearms and the common practice of storing them [often unlocked] at home."

It's all there.

What about car accidents? Accidental deaths? Death by Doctor?

I have a neighbor whose husband died recently at 86. She's now 78. She thinks people live too long. These kinds of articles have as their premise that living longer, in whatever state, is better than the opposite.
