Bigfoot3270 et al: imo, the question "What are your expectations for this product?" is only another way of asking "how, exactly, are you expecting to benefit from this product?" or "in what way do you expect this product will serve your needs?" or "we want to be sure that our product will do for you what you are expecting it to do."
In other words, "are you an appropriate customer for this product?" Nothing wrong with that response at all, imo.
