no it wouldn't...review the price spikes during Wam*Q in relation to what was said in court or released; a word here a word there for insider benefit ... or other high profile BK...happens all the time

and i might say that according to the context of the letter...the BK is leaning cancellation of shares and that MAYBE maybe not

now believes the value of the company has "appreciated" enough to provide a "reasonable possibility" that common equity holders could receive some value for their shares

that quote right there indicates that as of this moment / currently is on the cancellation side of fence and maybe could possibly fall on other side of fence to receive value
