Not only are some questioning the value of mmr patents, outside of the koolaid party in lorschland, everyone is saying no one is going to pay a signficant amount for a license. Let's do a little back-of-the-napkin math to see how the market (the only thing that matters in this game) values the mmr patents.
Market cap of mmrglobal about $9 million
Celgene deal worth $10 million
So the market knocked off $1 million for risk of this not happening.
That means the value being given to the patents is $zero.
Perhaps if patent license revenues begin to appear on future Qs or Ks, and if they can amount to signficantly more than the ongoing losses the company incurs, then the market might actually assign them some value which might even cause the share price to get back above 6 cents some day.
But for now, "no one is going to pay for a license" is still the view of those with money to invest. Don't take my word for it, just look at the share price.
