I do not Know the exact Percentage a Distributor of a Movie makes. Probably varies somewhat from Company to Company.

But even 5% of $300 Million is $15 Million if You get the Possibilities. We're taking Oscars here. Go back thru the recent posts and You'll find Info on the Possibilities. Also open the "Detailed Quote" and You'll find Videos on the Company.

Hope this Helps a Little. Might Google Disney, MGM, or other Big Distributors to find out thier "Cut". Hollywood did do a record over $10 Billion last year. Sycamore could Fly with a Winner or two.

The Eye Of The Storm Grossed $84,000 in US theaters.

This is the Only movie SEGI has the rights to. They have not distributed any other movies previously.

Generally movies earn 50% of thier box office revenue in DVD sales in the first year and then tapers off. Here is an example of a movie that had all the Oscar nominations/Wins and it's corresponding actual revenue numbers. Many more movie revenue examples on this site.
