GOSY has designed an extensible hardware and software architecture. The GeckoSPIO is an EXCELLENT example. That is one VERY important capability of Spencer's STRATEGIC hardware and software architecture design. The spio enables expansion and extension of the existing structure to "talk" to just about ANYTHING electrical. This attribute is VERY important since premature obsolescence would be a problem otherwise. Spencer is truly a visionary in GOSY's incorporation of this NECESSARY software and hardware EXPANSION interface! Dozens and dozens of low level sensors can be added off the spio. High level systems plug into the onboard LAN running at 100mHz using common TCP/IP protocols. Brilliant stuff! I REALLY believe Spencer has been at this forever. I note that NO ONE has submitted even ONE URL depicting a more advanced personal robot, OR wheelchair, than GOSY's.

Wow, only 1.7 million dollars cash to invent all of this! GOSY has done very, very well, IMO.
