#7301 RE: struftepete1 #7300

think of Geo like those sucker fish that cling to sharks for their livelihood......however, neither would survive without lower fishes in the food chain to provide their sustenance........

(not a perfect analogy, but you get the picture, I hope.....none of this happens without something to provide the base of the pyramid, good ol' retail prey.....if there were no crappy Cos for Geo-types to write hit pieces on, there would be little market for Geo-types to make money shorting them, thus little incentive to do so....lesson: don't be the meal!!!!!....there are plenty of great Cos out there, but if something sounds too good to be true....did this Co really claim to have such a low PE, etc???....being nothing but a distributor middleman, basically, right???...that's why I guess they needed to play the product volume card, because I don't see why their margins would be better than others!!!)

The relationship between a remora and its perfect host is most often taken to be one of commensalism, specifically phoresy. The host to which it attaches for transport gains nothing from the relationship, but also loses little. The remora benefits by using the host as transport and protection, and also feeds on materials dropped by the host. Controversy surrounds whether a remora's diet is primarily leftover fragments, or the feces of the host. In some species (Echeneis naucrates and E. neucratoides), consumption of host feces is strongly indicated in gut dissections.[3] For other species, such as those found in a host's mouth, scavenging of leftovers is more likely.
