Neal...most brokers will charge you a fee to remove trash from your account (50 or 100 bucks). But it can be done. Some brokers will also charge you an annual fee to keep trash in your account (ex: Charles Schwab). Good luck.

Neal, I'm no expert, but I pretty much agree with Lee... I know I have had worthless stocks simply taken out of the account by the broker. I have also heard you can have them declared worthless, but I would guess some brokerages will charge for the privilege of cleaning up their own books.

Personally I'm holding these until I make my millions somewhere else and will then have them declared worthless so I can reduce my gains with the loss on BKMP.
