The repubs arent going to stop the raising of the debt ceiling. They are bluffing. They may bluster until the last minute but in the end the debt limit will be raised. They are bluffing and will collapse like dominoes at the last moment and show their weakness to the American people once again. If they actually allowed the country to be in default, they are toast for the next 50 years and maybe for good. Its impossible they will let this happen. Its all bluster and bullsheet. On the other hand , if the repubs give Obama what he wants(and they will) and nothing is done in the next four years to address the deficit, then the dems are going to be blamed for the consequences longterm if nothing is seriously done to cut that deficit.
