#38777 RE: neuroinv #38776

Neuro, Thanks. I wonder how likely it will be that by the time Cortex or a partner gets Dronabinol on the market for Sleep Apnea, dispensaries will already be able to legally sell precisely dosed pills/capsules containing natural THC extracted from the plant, in direct competition to synthetic Dronabinol? That could negate the benefit of Cortex's dronabinol respiratory patent.

One thing about THC and sleep is that unlike Ampakines, which can cause insomnia, THC seems to improve sleep quality, at least based on my limited college experience. You seem to dream a lot more and more vividly, and then wake up refreshed and well rested. However, at the low doses used for Sleep Apnea (2.5-10 mg), there might not be very much effect on REM sleep/dreaming, although the lack of insomnia would tend to favor Dronabinol over Ampakines, all else being equal.
