Thats exactly what happened, (happening) to me.

Actually Etrade is wrong. The company does not do any of the logistics on switching out shares and certificates. All the company does is file the 14c with the SEC and once it is effective which is Def14c then the burden becomes on the transfer agent. I have been involved in may R/S and the company never has any control on this.
