I agree that everyone should have a long-term investment account and should only trade with a percentage of their wealth that they could afford to lose. I like a 70%-30% ratio.
70% being LTBH.

Most of my long term portfolio is not invested in the tech sector. Look how the DOW has held steady as compared to the NASDAQ the past 18 months.
