apparently not...he ran too far after it happened cause apparently the jockey got off as soon as he knew something was wrong & the horse tried to catch up with the rest of the pack & damaged the leg further. I guess I also don't understand why they can't just tranquilize him, amputate the leg and fit him with a prosthetic for breeding...
