We had two Oceans to protect us..........not any more.......the world is flat. ..... Everybody else has had to worry about it.......Of course we are paranoid.....there are countries that don't like us.

This was all done be design and would have happened anyway..9/11 was just an excuse to implement it.

*Today every message typed or spoken is computer filtered.
*Every air passenger, domestic or international, is searched.
*Every major bridge, tunnel and road that is a gate way to every city is monitored with cameras and sensors for radioactive material.
(not an unreasonable prevention)
*A $70 Billion Government Agency, Homeland Security, was created.
*New laws allowing more freedom to detain citizens are enacted.
* Two wars with Thousands of Americans and Hundred Thousands of citizens are dead or physically/mentally impaired.
