You are assuming that the longs aren't averaging down to the point where they feel squeezed. If the PPS gets stuck under 2.50 again you'll see another long squeeze.

As far as shorts are concerned, they've been around sine the PPS was in the $4-5 range. Most of them are probably very green now.

And we've been hearing "short squeeze" for years now.
