#3457 RE: Q-reus #3440

Well, I checked out Solexant, and tried to compare myself upon the suggestion. However on the website, I'm sorry but I don't see Robert Wendt listed as a director of Solexant, nor does it show on his biography on the xsnx website. He has been known to work with thin film PV though as far as I've seen for other companies.

He has been mentioned in several newsletters for xsnx going back few years.

Solexant doesn't seem to be open to the public, so I'm sure I won't be investing in it. I also see no mention of Cigs, I do see a-si, an amorphous silicon, as an element used in their solar cells, which is where xsnx claims to gain the upper hand in materials cost.

Xsnx has gotten verified records of their solar cells producing at a 15% efficiency, and 16% efficiency at it's peak, during their testing at the NREL.

It's not super high, but it is noteworthy providing they keep the production costs lower than silicone made solar providers.

For solexant, I cannot find any efficiency testing records. Perhaps I haven't been looking in the right place, if any can enlighten me, thanks.

In the end, I suppose the real way to compare the companies success is the cost per watt rate if and when they display one.

I am happy that Tom and Grimes have provided plenty of details about specifications of progress and cells both in news letters and on broadcasts. Hate when companies leave their investors like mushrooms, in the dark and covered in *&%$.

To each their own, goodluck!
