Let's see. You say that it is ignorant, poor judgement and dumb to suspend belief, then you say "...I don't believe..." and you say my reasoning is faulty. LOL. Your hole just gets deeper.
Yeah, yeah, I know. You have some Intel NDA that makes you privy to all of their dirty little secrets. You could tell me, but then you'd have to kill me. Right? LOL. If you truly have an NDA with Intel, and it prohibits you from disclosing sales data for Itanic, then I submit that you just violated your NDA by clearly intimating that, based on your confidential information, Itanic sales were greater than the Bloomberg article stated. Seriously, I sincerely hope that your NDA is not too important to your well-being. I know that if I have given you an NDA, and you posted juicy little hints about how wrong published articles were about sales data, I would yank it faster than you could say "oracle".
Then there is the possibility that you have no clue how many Itanics were sold. Suspension of belief? Nah. Not the great oracle.
