I did some research on TUGBOATS the past few months & thought the better of putting ANY of it up here.
I was SHOCKED to read how frequently they go for overhaul. SHOCKED!! Who knew?
The torque & HP improvement the HLNT units have demonstrated will be HUGE for THEM!! The fuel savings & emissions, also relevant for sure...since they BURN SO MUCH DAMN fuel so darn QUICKLY...but it turns out to be like....an ANCILLARY BENEFIT...how CRAZY is THAT? Just...INCREDIBLE...(more work, less engine strain, & equipment preserved!)
I pinch myself with this stock,...& often wonder if they have got the TECH ALL worked out & engineered "as advertised" because if they do...it is truly hard to COMPREHEND how HY-IMPACT™ we are REALLY TALKING HERE!!!
PS- It is also why I was so concerned over the Marine Expo Show because I began to reconsider how far along the tech might be within the Marine Division, but specifically with regards to the TUGBOAT applications. Tugboats been on the radar long enough that I thought the technology might be good for that show...
Once these units are proven in the military and tugboat(barge) markets HTI will command pricing leverage. I would never argue with Niko about the best approach to pricing but I think this soon won't matter. In fact these two areas may leap ahead and pull along the OTR industry.
As for real time 100% on the road optimization of performance can you say telematics? Niko has been all over this and look at all of Bill's connections!
