I'm thinking that was a typo:

Thomas Simone On page 2 of this article,it is mentioned that the cyclone engine can acheive 200 MPG.

Thomas Simone Is this statement accurate?

Turin Elosarien Wow, I grew up in Daytona Beach. Interesting to see the times posting about it. Keep up the good work!

Cyclone Power Technologies Thomas, based on the HP of the engine and the car's weight and wind drag, we are calculating 200 mph. Of course, we still need to prove it on the track. But we have great confidence.

It is a real bummer to see CYPW share price this crest fallen. Whatever the virtues of the technology, this company has NEVER figured out how to create shareholder value and enthusiasm. Only the absolute diehards will defend it at this point. I've hoped for a long time that CYPW would become the game changer it seemed, not just from money investment standpoint (though it's been a long time since I've held any shares) but from an environmental standpoint. Alas, it is all too obvious that this technology is rife with problems yet unsolved. It's the only conclusion I can come to: it's simply not ready for prime time.

These guys have never figured out how to get big capital in on this thing and turn it into a "Manhattan Project". The reasons must be that:

Big capital has looked at it and aren't interested

Mgmt thinks it can do this largely on its own and dilute shares to keep body and soul together

Mgmt have no deadlines which if people don't meet, they get fired

They have a great idea, but still have a garage tinkerer's mentality and have no one who has the grand imagination and single-mindedness of a Henry Ford.

Any of the above. None. Heck I don't know.
