Greed is probably the worst disease of all. It's in everyone of us. When it comes to corporate greed, it's unimaginable. What you have described is exactly what happend to my late wife over 12 years ago. That's why I stuck my neck out and investied in IDSI. The FDA is influenced heavily by Corporate, lobbiest money, just like our fine senators and congressmen/women. Many a fine medical technology has gone by the way side because of this greed. Watch the movie, Living Proof with Harry Conick Jr. He portrays the Dr. that developed Herceptin, a life saving, time buying drug for cancer patients. The FDA about put him out of busiess, until one of the FDA board memeber's wife got breast cancer. Herceptin got FDA approval and is a viable drug today. Imagine that!

Great point Squeak it is terrible that so many great medical advances get held up or stopped by the type of actions that have been delaying the progress of getting the CTLM out on the market to those that need it.
