CIRC: hey buybio ..... that is a great question and one that I have wondered as well. If there is another company behind the scenes, it would kinda explain Playboy's reasoning (somewhat) to file that motion for dismissal.

If there was another party, it would be interesting to find out who it is. :-)

Playboy motion denied. Same to occur in Chicago as well.

This is why I believe a motion for dismissal (about 99.9% certain) to be filed on Dec. 27th by Playboy will be denied. The BK court is not dismissing the agreement, it will not be dismissed in the Chicago court either.

Load and hold here for Chicago ruling. This one looks good for CIRC as well.
