Exactly why pennystock scams are not victimless crimes. it's not gambling by consenting adults. Sure families of people gambling on stocks are losses and hurt. But the real loss is what you point out above. Medical research that goes unfunded so a spoiled family can shop in Chicago at Christmastime.

So sorry to read of such a tragedy with your wife!!

Hope you've been able to pick up the pieces and move on. I didn't think I would, but did, and love it.
Hope not too many readers tune in to this, kinda of a downer over these holiday times. My father was murdered too. In a hit and run in Miami, Oklahoma of all places. Never found the SOB. He just kept on truck'in (was a white pickup truck). My dad got his wish. He didn'twant to die in an assisted living home, just go quick, and that prayer was answered. He never knew what hit him. Although, I think he was hoping to live more than 67 years old. My grandpa (my dad's dad) died at the same age of cancer. Yipes!! I'm going to watch that one. I'm 59.
