EXPLORING GOLD AND SILVER FRONTIERS http://www.sagoldcorp.com/v1/ South American Gold is engaged in identifying, acquiring, exploring and developing gold and silver properties. Our mission is to deliver value and leverage for our shareholders.
We own, lease or option silver and gold exploration prospects in Nevada, Arizona and Montana covering over four hundred acres, including our flagship Baltimore Silver Mine project.
We have built up extensive information on exploration on Colombia’s Narino department, the historic Zactecas region in Mexico, properties in America’s Pacific North-West, and underway southeastern Europe, which we are evaluating for acquisitions and exploration
Our highly-experienced team has exploration, development and production experience in North and South America.
Our strategy is to build a pipeline of projects in historic mining districts that we consider underexplored with modern technology and techniques, targeting higher grade or bulk-mining potential, and advancing through exploration , development or joint-venture.
Corporate Strategy http://www.sagoldcorp.com/v1/index.php?page=295 At South American Gold Our Mission is to deliver superior leverage to gold through the acquisition, exploration and development of significant gold deposits in Latin America, Mexico and the United States.
Our Strategy is to target historic Gold and Silver mining districts that we consider underexplored focusing on acquiring, exploring and developing properties that we believe offer larger scale open-pit or higher grade underground mining potential, and consolidating mining districts through acquisitions and joint-ventures.
Our Plan is for our highly-experienced team to concentrate on the historic mining districts which have a history of production yet for historical reasons we believe are under-explored. We will acquire through options, purchases, leases and earn-in agreements a land position that we believe offers potential to meet our strategic criteria of significant mineral deposits, and then proceed with exploration efforts to advance any projects acquired.

a maybe? showing this cause ray is open to country mode on mining sections; Colombia http://www.sagoldcorp.com/v1/index.php?page=319 Colombia represents we believe an underexplored Gold frontier with a long mining history. We have focused to date on the Narino Department in the south of the country. In 2011 we explored the Santacruz Gold project which we believe is a prospective Gold project, but contemplated regulatory changes and delays led the company to terminate its option on controlling the project as not meeting our criteria in terms of time-required for permitting and acquisition.
•We are currently conducting an internal assessment of focusing on the processing side of established or prospective gold projects in Colombia with a particular emphasis on Narino •We will proceed to evaluate exploration prospects with particular reference to proposed changes in the mining regulatory structure in Colombia expected to change in the upcoming months.
Arizona GB Project We have recently acquired one and leased nine unpatented mining claims covering approximately 200 acres of a prospective gold project located in the historic Canyon City Mining District of Yavapai County in Arizona.
Initial exploration efforts will be geared towards further identification of breccias pipes on the project, initial geological mapping and sampling, with an objective of identifying initial drill targets. [-chart]www.sagoldcorp.com/v1/images/content/Map%201.png[/chart]
Lucky Boy Project Location and Land Status South American Gold Corp. has acquired an interest in the Lucky Boy project in Mineral County Nevada. Lucky Boy Project is located in T7N/R30E sections 17, 18, 19, 20; T7N/R29E sections 13 and 24.
Lucky Boy The Lucky Boy Project area is approximately 4.5 miles southwest of Hawthorne, Nevada (the county seat of Mineral County) on the east flank of the Wassuk Range. The claims can be reached by traveling south on Nevada State Highway 359 then southwest on the Lucky Boy Pass Road. Access is good via graded dirt road and numerous 4-wheel drive roads and tracks.
The Baltimore Silver Project http://www.sagoldcorp.com/v1/index.php?page=326 The Baltimore Silver Mine is a former producing silver mine in an historic mining district located on private land in Jefferson County, Montana.
HistoryThe history of the Baltimore Mine dates back to the nineteenth century, with historical information indicating that recorded production was 18,148 tons of ore yielding 1,734 ounces of gold, 275,489 ounces of silver, however extensive modern exploration drilling has not been conducted on the property.
The project covers roughly one hundred acres and has six tunnels. By 1911 there were two thousand feet of underground workings and two tunnels with a work force of sixty men; in 1935 four tunnels and three thousand feet of underground drifts and crosscuts, with an additional two tunnels present by 1960. In 1966 and in 1989 sampling was conducted on the property with limited drilling conducted.
This historical information has not been independently verified by the company, and the company is compiling the database of records on the property including assay reports from 1966 and 1989. We believe the low silver prices of the nineties precluded interest in the project, and that it is a prospective high-grade silver narrow vein underground project.
The project consists of one hundred acres consisting of sixty acres of patented mining claims and forty acres of unpatented mining claims. The sixty acres of the mine proper are leased under a renewable lease with option to purchase, subject to a 3% net smelter return; the forty unpatented acres are owned and subject to no royalties.
Current Work and Plans•Conduct mapping activities to prepare updated geological maps, and guide drill target selection; •Assess status of underground workings and make preliminary assessment of rehabilitation tasks andcosts •Survey existing dump material on property at surface for tonnage, grades and sampling for metallurgical tests; •Surface survey work, soil sampling where recommended; •Determine if veins from the Baltimore Silver Mine extend onto the unpatented mining claims recently acquired ;
•Reconnaissance exploration and review of regional geology to identify future acquisition targets in the area; •Begin preparation of necessary permits and bonding requirement applications where required. Our objective is to prepare a project assessment of potential for commercial production, and costs to implement a Phase I Exploration and Development program, and second to determine exploration potential beyond the mine proper.
