Vaccines, even universal ones, have no meaning for immune-compromized patients. There is big money in I.V. treatment for patients in critical care and ICU. It also gets orphan drug status. I should think $2000 per course for 200,000 cases a year just in the US. World sales could exceed $1 billion a year, not including oral use as a prophylactic for areas of outbreak.
