Manny...... Good article..... The new nanny state wants to regulate everything in our lives. The government knows best and now has the power to implement their policies, more than ever before. Many outlets now scan your drivers licence if you are purchasing Nyquil, because tylenol can damage your liver(not because of the alcohol content)...They feel that the risk of liver damage from tylenol outweighs the benefits of pain relief. They will regulate opiods, because they fear risk of addiction outweighs the benefit of limiting pain, particularly in chronic pain patients. This crackdown is coming from the DEA, and all americans should take note of it... The government wants fewer pain meds prescribed also to cut medical insurance costs(partly, so we can give those that can't afford it, insurance at no cost).... They will limit large sugary drinks, high fat foods, fast foods, smoking(except maraijuana) etc- anything "they" deem to be unhealthy....
