Shares of this company closed Friday at just $0.04 and this little gem has been flying under the radar for far too long!

As we mentioned in yesterday's email Disney has been on an acquisition trail & it all started in 2009 when Silver Creek Pictures, Inc., an affiliate of the Walt Disney Company announced an exclusive first-look deal with POWN for the term of five years.

The agreement calls for POWN to provide Silver Creek Pictures with a “first look” at all of POW!’s creative intellectual property and the right to acquire any such properties at Silver Creek Picture’s discretion.

Basically, Disney wants first dibs on everything from movie to merchandising rights on whatever the brilliant mind of Stan Lee thinks up next!

Disney followed up on their "first look deal" in 2010 by buying a 10% stake in POWN for a reported $2.5 million.

Over the past 6 years Disney has made the following acquisitions:
•In 2006 Disney bought Pixer for $7.4 billion.
•In 2009 Disney bought Marvel Comics for $4 billion.
•In 2010 Disney bought a 10% stake in POWN for $2.5 million.
•In 2012 Disney bought Lucasfilm the company behind the Star Wars series for $4.05 billion.

Could Disney look to acquire all of POWN next?!

POWN currently trades for a market cap of up $5 million which is a drop in the bucket for a company such as Disney & could make a potential acquisition very lucrative for current POWN shareholders!


POWN is currently led by Stan Lee, a Hollywood legend who was the co-creator of some of the most iconic comic book characters of all time. Spiderman, The Hulk, Fantastic 4, and Iron Man just to name a few, all of which have been the basis for a number of Blockbuster multi-million dollar movie franchises.

It was Stan Lee who led the expansion of Marvel Comics from a small division of a publishing house, to a large multimedia corporation, which eventually led to Disney's $4 billion acquisition of the company.

Stan Lee then moved on to his next venture POWN.
