Iraq is not the threat but as I said the Country we have to "save" is Saudi Arabia as it is the seat and source of Salafi or Wahabi ideology that will persistently attack the west in an ongoing fashion for the next 100 years. Iraq is a beachhead for Democracy not a beachhead for military invasion of its two neighbors Iran And Saudi Arabia. I see the larger ambitions in invading Iraq by what I don't see in Congressional debate.
They have acquiesed to the thin arguments about WMD and terrorism involving a simple Dictator. It is Radical Islam this action is about and the Hawks in the government have decided the confrontation with the "Dictator Sadam" is a moral cover for the grander scheme of regime change throughout the middle east.
