Not really. A very plausible scenario is if Joe is to nail Dean, he will need some good solid first hand corroboration. Going after Jeff makes perfect sense. Jeff has no spine and would make a perfect "singer" to name names. Get Jeff and a few more "names", Joe would have a solid hand to get Dean.

You can't be serious? Dean has broken the law, FACT. He did nothing wrong with me other than maxing the AS so I can't convert if I wanted to. That has nothing to do with what Verity and others have on him. Dean believes he can make this all go away if he gets funding, but that is just not true. I tried to apply pressure so Dean would just go away because to release all the info would be disastrous to the company's future. Make no mistake, too many people have the goods on Dean and it only takes one to give the evidence to the proper authorities. It won't be me, but I know others are going to take Dean to task if he stays.
