but, I can't agree with this:

now read this (I was going to take issue with this at the time it was posted, but, I thought I'd let it "slide"......however, now is an appropriate time)...

here's the problem.....this example of the liberal/progressive mindset is so misguided from Kool-aid drinking and pure ignorance it's actually frightening to realize that people such as this vote or worse....look at the trouble in Lansing yesterday....this completely oblivious mindset is responsible for that frackas....

My 25 year old daughter lives and works in Switzerland and has been working there for two years. Aside from making an unbelievable salary for a kid just a few years out of college, she gets five weeks paid vacation from the day she signed her contract. Since she's been working for two years, if her contract isn't renewed, she gets two years of unemployment at (it's either 70 or 80 percent of her salary...I can't remember which). There is so much the government does for its people, I can't even begin to list it. It's just such a civilized society.

what was omitted was the fact that you CANNOT (as a foreigner) live in Switzerland without a job and place to live...

just like the US...huh???

just like the US, right?? borders open....jobless, homeless, uneducated flocking accross to get on the social welfare rolls....

this person doesn't realize that the rioting in Greece and Spain and France was caused by the stupidity of paying two years unemployment to people and giving them 5, 6, 7, 8 weeks of vacation....which they can take again without loss of salary if they get a sniffle or didn't enjoy their vacation for any of a number of reasons.....

Switzerland is a teeny weeny miniscule place.....which has an influx of foreign capital thru a default process because it has been the historic neutral meeting place for the world's powers....

the person for got to realize that because of those concepts unemployment tops 25% in some socialist European nations....and, businesses are fleeing due to the horrific restrictions, regulations, and taxation on business.

that post is very typical of what is written here day after day and a product of liberal thinking....

Europe is smoldering....soon to be on fire and consumed....yet, these starry eyed liberals demean anyone who does not emulate that European sociaalist failure.
