While your statement is somewhat valid. Ppl get latched on to this idea that the assets created are tangible. In other words they could be sold or have some inherant value. Look over the q again and you will see they are intangible. Bascially worthless. You can't get a loan against them... You can't really sell them. It's more of a balance sheet trick than anything.
