Lien is recourse for not being paid for contract work, its only lawful purpose. briscoe and MBGS are at odds over the drilling work. There appears to be a feud over money.

none of the mechanic liens cover any of them...

NAK does hold a Mortgage Deed of Trust on all of Big Chunk--including the claims we deeded them in the settlement and our remaining claims in the South block plus all the North block it appears...

perhaps it is temporary until the special warranty transfer to U5 clears-----no idea...
