Hmmmm, pure speculation here but, "they tried to get IPO last year and it was denied." Think about it, buy Patriot Coal and be a public company without an IPO. Again, just thinking out loud but it is an interesting thought.

Well it would seem that in spite of
the obligations.. there is a lot of
value in what PCX owns. Way beyond
the obligations.
