nah man you didn't miss anything.. this is just the first acknowledgement and validation from VRNG that the decimal point error theory was actually sound.
that's what has us excited.. the very real possibility that VRNG will use that argument to have the damages adjusted.
VRNG have not yet filed a motion for Damages to be amended they have only responded to google's ridiculous claims.
however that being said it does now seem very likely that they will push the clerical error angle. which mind you does not have to be fixed during post trial motions.. (as I understand it the judge can fix a clerical error at any time and may have a statute of limitations of some 15 years depending on jurisdiction)
I think VRNG are wisely getting all the formalities and paperwork sorted before bogging the court down in arguments about jury errors.
