It does not appear that the managers of Bayport are intentionally misleading shareholders, which seems to be the essential element in a scam. Inexperience and incompetence, well, that's another matter.

You are asking about motivation - it is obviously based on somebody making money. Who exactly profits is not my concern, but most certainly it is someone who has the ability to create and then dump stock. That would be the "officers of the company", right?

I am stating that the information that is being posted by Bayport about non-existent gold and rare earths deposits constitutes a willful deception. I have already explained why the information they have presented as proof of their "ore" is not credible, and in fact, is so amateurish that it is laughable. In other words, their deceptive promotional practices constitute a scam!
