I'm with ya - but I wonder if a big boy independent lab would insist on EPA approval beforehand, that the product is safe before they start handling it, etc.

We're left to guess on so much of this but perhaps funding the tests was also pending EPA approval. An investor wouldn't have wanted to pay for testing on a product that the EPA could shut down on some whim or technicality. The doc may have chipped in the extra $82,000 for testing this particular product.

The technology has been around a while, so it is proven. The steenking Vikings used ionization to combat algae.
