The rich have better access to and benefit more from government than does the average person so a progressive tax is a no-brainer. Anyone who finds himself in that position should be thankful and consider it his/her patriotic duty to support a country that's allowed them to prosper. To give them credit.....hard work should be rewarded, but none of them should think for one moment that they did it alone.
That said.....taxes should be used on something productive......not the foolishness much of it is spent on these days.
