DGagnon819, just the opposite, at least with nForce2. In the following article he was able to operate an EPoX EP-8RGA+ stably at 218MHz FSB and 225MHz with an AGP card, but only 200MHz using onboard graphics.

DGagnon819,

Probably the most CPU intensive thing I do is C&C Renegade or Unreal Tournament. I just wanted to get something faster than my Duron 600.

Hmm, the point I was trying to make is that I guess all of AMD's production is TBredBs and Bartons. I had pretty much figured I was going to either get a Palomino or possibly a TBredA, but I didn't.

In addition, they have to be downbinning. I can cut the voltage to 1.55 volts, down from 1.6, and still overclock this thing to the max. my memory and PCI/AGP busses can take. And it still doesn't get much above 10 degrees over the system temp. I can't even guess what the max. overclock on this thing is, it happily takes everything I throw at it. If I push the FSB to the max it craps out, but I think that likely has to do with the AGP bus going over 80MHz and/or the memory going over 300/600MHz...

Edit: That's what I get for going on memory. Make that 79MHz for the AGP and 157/314MHz for the FSB. I can go 147/294MHz for the FSB, not bad for an early Crucial PC2100 stick...
