It's Easy to do. Up at the Front of the Mods there's a box to check "Add Me as Moderator". Click it and the Administration will check You and it out and if everythings Good they put You on in a day or so. (Pardon me if You have already done this before.)
One of the biggest Benefits is that You get to "Sticky" really Important Posts.
Also if and when a "Flamer" shows up, and Posts something Really Off-color You can "Delete" that Post. Good Luck!
