That was what I felt drove the price down, however that paper does not seem relevant for Parkinson's, but other ways in which MANF can be utilized as well as furthering the understanding of it's mechanism of action.

I will try to find this paper and take a closer look however. Its important to ascertain what the implications are for MANF's current value.

not rhetoric -- also, not all the info on MANF from 1 academic paper... AMBS chief scientist figured out that structural cells in the brain have some important purposes, including secreting substances that protect injured cells. No one else thought of it before.

Turns out the "substance" is MANF. Also turns out MANF works on the heart too. It keeps damaged cells from dying, giving them a chance to repair. In the heart, it means 40% less dead heart muscle. In the brain, it makes parkinsons symptoms decrease. Data analysis, may well show that the symptoms decrease because more of the dopamine producing cells are producing dopamine (the data analysis we're waiting for)...

So various 8Ks from the company show that MANF works. The one referenced in your post, is a small part of the story.

In my opinion, the real story this week is do longs have more opportunity to snag cheap shares or not...

Then the real story within the next few weeks, will be when the big announcement gets made.
