I invest large sums via Equity-linked options. These can involve up to 200 KUSD and when I am saddled with the stock, I always hold on (all are Mainboard very large companies).

I have made profits on everyone of them by holding on.

For penny and sub-penny stocks, my investments will be in the low thousands only but with the same tenacity to hold and wait for months or longer.

My entry criteria is simple...some enthusiastic investors will recommend, I will look up the comnpany literature, enter if I think the market level is low. Then average down slowly. And wait...be like the Fisherman...the big fish will come.

If one has limited funds better not to get into equities.
