Thanks for the correction -- another trader who talked to the various brokers told me the same thing today.

brokers you listed allowed the people trading their to "short sell" on good faith that they would get the shares.



careful..I got burned like that once...broker did the same and guess what?...shares never came and I got a call from "risk management"... I was forced to cover it within the week or they would hit market order buy to cover for me....
