rj2 - Considering your statements were still in context of FASC, I don't think we know for sure if you have been perserverating or not. If you were to continue such statements in regards to say buggy wips, well we might be able to make a conclusion.

"if I perseverate "FASC is going to run to a buck per share", will I be a pumper?"

You will certainly be a perseverator:

"Perseveration of thought indicates an inability to switch ideas or responses."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perseveration

The belief that FASC is ever going to run to a buck is the triumph of hope over (fifteen years' worth of) experience, I'm afraid.

RJ - If you perseverate this stock up to $1.00 a share, I think I would over-rule your wife, and suggest you take the entire board on that cruise. Your definition of perseveration needs a little refining however, "It means to keep on yakking, even though no one is left listening, because you are saying inside, "damn it, I need to be heard--and I can't stop blowing my mouth off until someone really listens to me." That's why I appreciate women like "Mrs. RJ." I have one waiting for me up in Heaven--and "I am just dieing to get there to be with her."Waitedg

No one seemed to appreciate my short little "groaners" (sp), so until you tell me I am clever, RJ, here's another. Why did the orange stop rolling down the hill?" Answer: It ran out of juice. Now use me as an example of perseveration, and hopefully your instructor will give you an A.
