what I didn't understand then and don't now, is why did he think it would work? Yes, if you're coaching Alabama or LSU with those huge upfront linemen, it might. But that clearly was not the case.

Please-Tennessee is one of my favorite teams, could you give him to Kentucky, maybe? They seriously need help too.

Yup SC could have scored on the first play from the two yard line if they had just gone ahead and run the ball wide outside the tackles. ND didn't have the speed to keep up and that is where SC was running the ball in the first quarter until for some reason he thought that he needed to start throwing the ball all over the lot.

He needs an offensive coordinator so bad that it is pathetic. The plays that he comes up with are really good and there is almost always at least one or two receivers that are open but when it comes to calling those plays from the sideline he just flat out stinks up the place. I guess from the sidelines on the last series he just wasn't able to see that everybody from ND were all stacked up within a foot of line of scrimage.

SC might get the last year of the scholarship restrictions lifted because the NCAA attorney basically said that they lied in the case against Todd McNair(former running back coach) and a judge in the case came out and said that he firmly believes that was what happened.

If they get the restrictions lifted then I can see no real reason to keep Kiffen just because he is a good recruiter. SC could fire him as head coach and keep him on as a recruiter and have the best of both worlds but I don't know if that would be following the Nazi Commitee of Ametuer Athlecs rules and regulations or not.
