I have been playing with remote control of Windows from the iPad and Nexus 7 and found a decent solution on the iPad. I am typing this on an iPad connected to my MacBook Pro running Windows XP Pro via remote desktop.

It is an interesting way to get access to Windows Applications with the portability of tablets. It does take a while to get used to the virtual mouse devices in these client applications.
