The Keck Seng entity listed in Hong Kong has no significant assets in HK, Malaysia, or Singapore. We are not talking about the separate listing in Malaysia. There are no overlapping assets between the two.
Richard Li's buyout attempt was ultimately blocked. I think this example is a further argument for good minority shareholder protection in HK.
